Nancy J. Flood, Trustee

Nancy Flood is a life-long resident of Lafayette. She taught in the Lafayette School District for 41 years and is now enjoying retirement. She is on the board the Lafayette Historical Society, and the Lafayette Improvement Association as well as being a Trustee of the Alamo-Lafayette Cemetery District. She is also an active member of the Lafayette United Methodist Church, sings in the choir and is involved in many activities.

Carolyn Thiessen, Trustee

Carolyn Thiessen graduated with a BA in languages from Duke University and Masters in Spanish from Middlebury. This prepared her for a career as a Spanish teacher at San Ramon Valley High School and Diablo Valley Community College. Volunteerism has always been important to Carolyn and she has worked in that capacity as a hospital volunteer and translator, a teacher of adult literacy and a museum docent. She leads history tours of the pioneer Alamo Cemetery in Danville. She is a Rotarian and has gone on several humanitarian projects overseas with the Rotary. She is married and has three adult children.

Mary McCosker, Trustee
Term: 09/2018
Resident of Lafayette since 1946. BA in History and Elementary Education credential from UC Berkeley. Taught at Donald Rheem Elementary School in Moraga for seven years. Served on the Lafayette School District Governing Board for 13 years. Currently on the boards of the Lafayette Historical Society, the Lafayette Improvement Association, and the YWCA Berkeley/Oakland. Married to Daryl McCosker for 40 years with three adult children and nine grandchildren.
